Ak Zanj Haitian Dark Rum 15 Year

Description:

AGED 15 YEARS IN 227-LITER SINGLE CASK LIMOUSINE OAK EX-COGNAC BARREL

Ak Zanj means With Angels, a reference to the Angels Share, the spirit stolen by thirsty angels each year, as the rum matures in barrels. Under the tropical weather of Haiti, the Angels are especially thirsty, and their share can be as high as 10 percent annually. The more they drink, the more mature and complex the rum.
