Ayiti Bitters Co. Zoranj Anme (Orange Liqueur)

Description:

(ANM MEANS BITTER AND ZORANJ MEANS ORANGE IN CREOLE)

The best-known global brands of orange liqueurs operate orange plantations in Haiti. The bright, bitter, spicy species Citrus Aurantium subspecies Amara, is believed to have been brought to the island of Hispaniola by Cristoforo himself, in 1492. Citrus has thrived on the island ever since - a silver lining in the dark cloud he brought to Hispaniola.

Local rum forms the base of this liqueur, sweetened by raw sugar syrup concentrate, a product of cane juice condensed from roasting on a fire of the spent dried out cane post pressing. The process of infusing the oranges into this liqueur impart a brightness unparalleled by any orange liqueur in the world, with a natural spice and bitterness that adds balance to any cocktail.

Try ZORANJ ANM in your Sidecar, White Lady, Margarita or any cocktail that calls for a citrus liqueur that need an added depth and complexity.

Main ingredients: known Haitian orange peels from a selection of bitter oranges, curacao and sour orange. Variety of citrus Anrantium species. Excellent orange liqueur for cocktail such as rum sour.
