Cakebread Cabernet Sauvignon Suscol 2021

Description:

Cakebread Cellars, a renowned winery in Napa Valley, is celebrated for its commitment to quality and sustainability. The Cakebread Cabernet Sauvignon Suscol is crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes sourced from the Suscol Springs Vineyard, located in the cooler southern reaches of Napa Valley. This wine showcases a meticulous winemaking process, including fermentation in stainless steel tanks followed by aging in French oak barrels, which imparts a subtle oak influence. The wine exhibits a rich flavor profile with notes of dark berries, cassis, and a hint of mocha, supported by a well-structured tannin backbone and balanced acidity. It pairs beautifully with grilled meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses.
