Cantina Terlano-Kellerei Terlan \’Gries Riserva\’ Lagrein Alto Adige 2022

Description:

Cantina Terlano-Kellerei Terlan, located in the Alto Adige region of Italy, is renowned for its exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of the area. The \'Gries Riserva\' is crafted from the Lagrein grape, a varietal native to this region, known for producing deeply colored and robust wines. The Alto Adige region, with its alpine climate and diverse soils, provides an ideal environment for Lagrein, resulting in a wine with a rich and complex flavor profile. This wine is typically aged in oak barrels, which adds layers of spice and vanilla to the natural dark fruit flavors of blackberry and plum. The tannin structure is firm yet balanced, making it an excellent pairing with hearty dishes such as grilled meats or aged cheeses.
