Cappellano Barolo Chinato

Description:

Cappellano Barolo Chinato is a unique and traditional Italian wine crafted by the esteemed Cappellano winery, known for its dedication to preserving the heritage of Barolo wines. This fortified wine is made from the Nebbiolo grape, which is the same varietal used in the production of Barolo, hailing from the prestigious Piedmont region in Italy. The wine undergoes a meticulous process where it is infused with a secret blend of herbs and spices, including quinine bark, which imparts a distinctive bitter-sweet flavor profile. The result is a complex and aromatic wine with notes of cherry, cinnamon, and clove, balanced by a refreshing bitterness. Cappellano Barolo Chinato is traditionally enjoyed as a digestif and pairs beautifully with dark chocolate and rich desserts.
