Carpineto Vino Nobile Riserva 2015

Description:

Carpineto Vino Nobile Riserva is a distinguished wine produced by Carpineto, a renowned winery in Tuscany, Italy. This wine is crafted primarily from Sangiovese grapes, known locally as Prugnolo Gentile, which are meticulously cultivated in the prestigious Vino Nobile di Montepulciano appellation. The wine undergoes a traditional winemaking process, including extended aging in large Slavonian oak barrels, which imparts a complex structure and depth. It boasts a rich flavor profile with notes of ripe cherries, plums, and subtle hints of spice and leather, supported by firm tannins and balanced acidity. This wine pairs beautifully with hearty Italian dishes such as osso buco, roasted meats, and aged cheeses.
