Cayuse Syrah Cailloux

Description:

Cayuse Vineyards, located in the Walla Walla Valley of Washington State, is renowned for its biodynamic farming practices and distinctive terroir-driven wines. The Cayuse Syrah Cailloux is a testament to the winery\'s commitment to quality and expression of place. This wine is crafted from 100% Syrah grapes, showcasing the varietal\'s rich and complex character. The Walla Walla Valley, with its unique cobblestone soils, imparts a distinct minerality and depth to the wine. The winemaking process involves careful fermentation and aging in French oak barrels, which adds layers of spice and subtle oak nuances. On the palate, the wine offers a harmonious blend of dark fruit flavors, such as blackberry and plum, complemented by savory notes of olive and smoked meat. The tannins are well-integrated, providing a smooth and elegant finish. This Syrah pairs beautifully with grilled meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses.
