Charles Smith Real Wine Chardonnay 2022

Description:

Charles Smith Wines, founded by the innovative winemaker Charles Smith, is renowned for its bold and expressive wines that capture the essence of Washington State\'s terroir. The Real Wine Chardonnay is crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes sourced from the Columbia Valley, a region celebrated for its diverse microclimates and rich soils. This wine undergoes fermentation in stainless steel to preserve the purity of the fruit, followed by a period of aging in neutral oak barrels, which imparts a subtle complexity without overshadowing the vibrant fruit character. On the palate, it offers a harmonious blend of ripe apple, pear, and citrus notes, complemented by a crisp acidity and a hint of minerality. This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with seafood dishes, creamy pastas, and soft cheeses, making it a versatile choice for various culinary experiences.
