Chateau Cleyrac Bordeaux Superieur 2020

Description:

Chateau Cleyrac is a distinguished producer located in the renowned Bordeaux region of France, known for crafting wines that embody the classic characteristics of the area. The Bordeaux Superieur designation indicates a higher quality level within the Bordeaux appellation, often achieved through stricter production standards and longer aging requirements. This wine is typically composed of a blend of grape varietals such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, which are emblematic of the region. The winemaking process often involves fermentation in stainless steel or concrete vats, followed by aging in oak barrels to enhance complexity and depth. The resulting wine offers a rich flavor profile with notes of dark fruits like blackberry and plum, complemented by hints of spice and a well-structured tannin backbone. It pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes, including roasted meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses.
