Chateau de St. Cosme Gigondas

Description:

Chateau de St. Cosme is a historic winery located in the heart of the Gigondas appellation in the Southern Rhne Valley, France. Known for its dedication to traditional winemaking techniques, the estate produces wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region. The Gigondas is primarily composed of Grenache, with smaller proportions of Syrah and Mourvdre, showcasing a deep, rich profile with flavors of dark berries, spices, and earthy undertones. The wine is aged in a combination of new and used oak barrels, which adds complexity and a subtle hint of vanilla to the palate. With a robust tannin structure and balanced acidity, this wine pairs beautifully with hearty dishes such as lamb stew or grilled meats.
