Chateau Le Puy Emilien 2019

Description:

Chateau Le Puy Emilien is a distinguished wine from the Bordeaux region, crafted by the historic Chateau Le Puy estate, which has been family-owned since 1610. This vintage is a blend predominantly composed of Merlot, with Cabernet Franc and a touch of Malbec, reflecting the traditional Bordeaux varietal composition. The growing season benefited from a warm growing season, resulting in ripe fruit flavors and balanced acidity. The wine is aged in oak barrels, which imparts subtle notes of vanilla and spice, complementing the rich flavors of dark berries and plums. It exhibits a medium to full-bodied structure with smooth tannins and a long, elegant finish. This wine pairs beautifully with roasted meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses.
