Chimay Blue Cap Grande Reserve

Description:

Chimay Blue Cap Grande Reserve is a renowned Belgian Trappist beer brewed by Chimay Brewery, which is located in the Scourmont Abbey in Belgium. This beer is a classic example of a Belgian Strong Dark Ale, known for its rich and complex flavor profile. It is brewed with a blend of specialty malts and hops, which contribute to its deep, dark color and robust character. The beer undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle, which enhances its depth and complexity over time. With an ABV of around 9%, it offers notes of dark fruit, caramel, and a hint of spice, balanced by a subtle bitterness. Chimay Blue Cap is best enjoyed slightly chilled and pairs wonderfully with rich meats, cheeses, and desserts.
