Ciacci Brunello di Montalcino 2019

Description:

Ciacci Piccolomini d\'Aragona is a renowned winery located in the picturesque region of Montalcino, Tuscany. The Brunello di Montalcino is crafted exclusively from Sangiovese grapes, a varietal known for its robust character and aging potential. The wine undergoes a meticulous winemaking process, including fermentation in stainless steel tanks followed by aging in large Slavonian oak barrels, which imparts a balanced oak influence without overpowering the fruit. This Brunello exhibits a complex flavor profile with notes of ripe cherry, plum, and hints of leather and spice, supported by firm tannins and vibrant acidity. It pairs beautifully with rich dishes such as roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses.
