Del Maguey Mezcal Single Village Wild Tepextate

Description:

Del Maguey Mezcal Single Village Wild Tepextate is a rare and exceptional mezcal that exemplifies the artistry of traditional mezcal production. This unique spirit is crafted from the wild Tepextate agave (agave Marmorata), which thrives in the rugged and remote mountains of Mexico. The Tepextate agave is renowned for its striking appearance, with broad twisted leaves that can grow up to eight to ten inches wide. It defies the odds by flourishing at high altitudes, often clinging vertically to rocky mountainsides. Del Maguey, known for its dedication to preserving the heritage of mezcal, proudly adds the Tepextate to its prestigious Vino De Mezcal series.
