Distillerie Cazottes Blackthorn 2017

Description:

The rich, melting fruit evokes flesh and pulp, offset by the bitterness of the stone. Acidity, though subtle, supports the structure and adds verticality. Alcohol contributes linearity and preserves a slight texture. The finish is long and dual-natured, oscillating between the strength of vermouth, rancio, and quinquina, and the elegance of melted, fleshy fruit. Empyreumatic notes linger for extended caudalies.
