Gonzalez Byass Sherry Matusalem Vinum Optimum Rare Signatum 30 Yr 375ML

Description:

Matusalem is a 30-year-old Cream sherry. A blend of 75% Palomino and 25% PX. After 30 years in cask it has acquired an intense mahogany color with profound aromas of dried fruits, raisins, spices and mature oak. On the palate smooth and sweet, long and velvety. This wine shows an interesting bittersweet finish due to the mix of the sweet Pedro Ximenez and the bitter tannins from the oak. Ideal with blue cheeses such as Stilton. Also perfect as a dessert wine with fruit pudding or apple pie.
