Les Camilles 2020

Description:

A remarkable expression of Malbec (Ct) from 80-year-old vines planted in the well-drained red clay and limestone terraces of Cahors. Crafted by Gilles Bley, this wine defies the region\'s typical heavy style, offering a brighter, fruit-driven profile with silky tannins and deep complexity. Aged for two years in 600-liter wooden tanks, its a smooth, elegant wine that can be enjoyed now or aged further.
Fun Fact: Gilles Bleys family has been growing grapes in Cahors for generations, and his estate showcases a lighter, more delicate side of the regions traditionally bold and brooding wines.
